Katy Perry Makes History!
Few days back, Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night(T.G.I.F)" has finally became the number 1 song on the famous Billboard Top 100 chart. Due to the astonishing achievement, Katy Perry has made history as the first female singer ever to have 5 single as number 1 on the Billboard Top 100 from 1 single album. Katy is the second to achieve this after Micheal Jackson. Quite a company rite? Huhu. The five singles responsible for Katy's success are "California Gurls", "E.T", "Teenage Dream", "Fireworks" and of course, "Last Friday Night(T.G.I.F)".
From the exclusive interview by Billboard, Katy Perry responded, "Hitting No. 1 is always a great moment, but when it turns into a small piece of history, you're reminded of how many millions of people are connected to each other by even one tiny event,". She added, "Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. Ever since I was 9 years old, singing into my hairbrush, I've dreamed very big dreams, but today is bigger than my dreams. What a nice first birthday present for 'Teenage Dream'!" Anyway, congratulation Katy Perry. You are wonderful! :)
p/s:Wish Britney Spears could achieve that too. :p
