Kesha Releases New Song "True Colors" with Zedd

Just when we thought we have to wait much longer for new music from Kesha, this miracle happens. Following a surprise performance by Kesha with Zedd at Coachella, Kesha releases this new track produced by Zedd just recently. Kesha first teases her animals (her fans) with the cover art of the new track with hashtag #TrueColors as caption on Instagram and nothing more. It made the fans wonder what the picture really means and thankfully, it is as expected; a cover art for her new track.

With this new release from Kesha, despite her ongoing legal battle with producer Dr. Luke and her recent denial in injunction for her to record outside Kemosabe by judge, is definitely a relief for everyone especially the animals. The song, although kinda dancy and house music (well Zedd is the producer), carries meaningful lyrics that touches the heart of many who follow Kesha's career. This shows some hope for her and we the fans really hope to hear more of her in the future.  Take a listen to it below and tell me what you think about it. PEACE! #FREEKESHA

p/s: Kesha is still signed under Dr. Luke's label.

Yuna World Premier "Crush" Music Video Featuring Usher

The long wait is over with the official release of Yuna's latest effort "Crush" music video featuring Usher, today just few hours ago. Honestly speaking, I was among millions of Yuna's fans who got excited for the music video. Not only because it features Hollywood A-list, Usher, but also because the song itself is so damn good. To me it should be the first single instead of "Places To Go". But I am not a music expert so I am just laying my thoughts down about it. Ok, moving on to the music video, the video was shot in black and white, like "Places To Go" music video and you guessed it, slo-mo is the major drive for the music video as well. Well, I think you can expect that knowing that the song is a slow, relaxing kinda song so using slo-mo is not an issue here. I think I don't wanna comment so much about it. You guys should watch it and tell me about what you guys think instead. If you ask me, I love the music video and I enjoy watching it. I will say it is the perfect music video for you to chill and relax. Anyway, watch it below and share your thoughts with me yah. PEACE!

Kris Allen's "Letting You In" Album Review

Kris Allen is back with his brand new album "Letting You In". Following his past release "Horizon" which came out a little quiet, this 2009 American Idol winner is here again with his new flavour. How good is this album going to be? I'm about to find out real soon. Before that, few quick info on this album. It was launched on 18th March, about a month ago with no preceding singles of any sort. A very daring move I shall say. The album comes with 10 tracks and takes about 37mins to listen to. Ok so let's get going with this album.

The album starts with "Love Will Find You". This song really gives you the picture of how the entire album will go about. Kris is going for something like the 70s 80s kinda songs and kinda country in a way too. It's kinda different with his previous album "Thank You Camelia" which I think more of a pop rock. "Letting You In" is still very much a pop rock album (I think) but with the touch of blues, country and 80s music to it. "Faster Shoes" is a dance track but not a modern type of dance music. It's 80s kinda dance music actually which it will be a good track for tap dancing.

1.Love Will Find You

3.Time Will Come
4.Waves (Kris Allen's classic)
5.If We Keep Doing Nothing

All in all, this album is not something you would listen on mainstream radio most of the time, Im very sure. The songs are deep and really not staple to radio. Well, most good music don't really made it to radio anyway right becuz they usually give way to catchy pop garbage. If you really like to listen to music that is not really mainstream and not radio-typical, this album is for you. It gives retro and country vibes to it despite being a pop rock album. I wish this album and Kris Allen all the best. May this album revive Kris's career once again. I give this album 3.8/5. PEACE!

Zayn Debut at #1 on US and UK charts

Zayn's first solo effort, "Mind of Mine" debuts at #1 on Billboard 200 this week. The album got 157,000 equivalent album sales with 112,000 of that sums are pure album sales. Quite an impressive figures for a debut album.

This achievement made Zayn the first ever UK male artist to top the Billboard 200 chart with their first album! This guy is all about making and breaking records! Zayn also smashed another record previously with "PILLOWTALK" being the first single by UK artist to debut at #1 on Billboard Hot 100.

"Mind of Mine" also tops the UK album chart leaving "25" by Adele to fall at #2 this week.

Kesha's Lawsuit REJECTED By Court Judge

Kesha's war with Dr. Luke has come to a very unsettling (for many) end when her claims were rejected by court judge yesterday. ICYMI, Kesha has made lawsuit against Dr. Luke for allegedly raping her when she was 18 and abusing her for the past 10 years.

Eventhough the social media is massively with Kesha, court judge is not in the same boat. The judge rejected all of Kesha's claims against Dr. Luke which sadly means that she has to remain under Luke's recording company and Sony. She also cannot release any records outside of this label.

Upon rejecting her claims, the judge issued this statement;

"Although [Luke's] alleged actions were directed to Kesha, who is female, [her claims] do no allege that [Luke] harbored animus toward women or was motivated by gender animus when he allegedly behaved violently toward Kesha."

The judge ends the statement with this;

"Every rape is not a gender-motivated hate crime."  - which will surely starts a war on the social media.

Kesha's personally tweets about this and says "These music business a-sholes (well, Dr. Luke) had almost successfully crushed my magic. But that f--ker didn't win!". Earlier, Kesha shared with us on her Instagram account that she was offered freedom but needed to APOLOGIZE to Dr. Luke and announce that she was never raped by him. This case really has gotten out of hands and I dont know

Rihanna Kiss It Better Baby (Explicit) - Music Video

Rihanna is never short of sexy-ness and in this video, she shows nothing but sexyyyyyyy. This video surely makes the guys (and some girls) to be on their seats till the end of the video. We've seen Riri's amazing figure several times before so there is nothing new to it only that now you can see it in many different angles. We all know what the song is about. If you don't, please Google the lyrics before watching it and before judging it later like it some kind of gospel song. "Kiss It Better" is the second single from Rihanna's new #1 album, "ANTI", succeeding "Work". Do you like it or you don't? Well, that is up to you. Watch it below and share your thoughts about it. PEACE!

Gwen Stefani's This Is What The Truth Feels Like - Album Review

Gwen Stefani is back with her new #1 solo album "This Is What The Truth Feels Like". It has been 10 years since Gwen's last solo album and good for her, she came back with a bang! The album opens with 84,000 equivalent album sales (pure album sales + streaming) in its first week. As the title goes, the album was based on Gwen's emotional roller coaster from the end of her relationship with former husband and what she felt during that probably gruesome period. It receives good critics over the honesty portrayed through the songs. So, with the album in hands, I would like to review the album my way. Now lets get started.

The deluxe version comes with 17 songs on board. Im gonna start with the good. The album starts off with "Misery". I like this song. It is a very good opening song for the album and very good to get you in the mood to listen to the rest of the album. Moving on, "You're My Favourite" is a radio friendly music and it channels mainstream pop. Something that we used to listen to on the radio most of the time. "Make Me Like You" is another radio friendly song in this album. It has catchy chorus and hooks people can easily get in their head. Other than that, "Send Me A Picture" is the song that all teens can definitely relate to. Lol. Plus it is upbeat and even made me dance a little to it. Not to mention its very catchy chorus. "Truth" is a breath of fresh air from Gwen. The music is soothing and very easy to listen to. Next we have "Loveable"; catchy song with deep lyrics. It's like a revenge song for whoever she directed the song to. With lyrics like "Cant you handle it someone else on my lips?", Gwen is taking back her pride and shove it to the guys arse! If you feel like dancing, "Where Would I Be" is the one for you. At some part of the song, it reminds me of Gwen's classic "Rich Girl".

Moving on to the so-so part. Even though "Used To Love You" is the lead single of this album, it didn't do it for me. It is an okay song but not that powerful to drive the whole album. But I can see where the song comes from. "Naughty" and "Obsessed"are both radio typical songs. Catchy but not the type of songs people will remember for long. "Rare" is Gwen's typical but in a good way. It does not offers much but can still be enjoyed.

In every bunch, there must be rotten ones. As for this album, "Red Flag" and "Asking 4 It (feat. Fetty Wap) are the rotten ones (at least to me). Both are kinda hip hop and didn't do it for Gwen. "Red Flag" sounds like Iggy Azalea's "Work" and it definitely will suit Iggy way more. But, I gotta give credit to Gwen for her rapping attempts in the song. "Me Without You" takes the wheel and drives the album back to its original course away from the hip hop deviation. Thank goodness because I was starting to feel a bit let down by the hip hop part. I am not against Hip-Hop music but I just think that Hip-Hop music is not for Gwen.

All in all, "This Is What The Truth Feels Like" is a very good album. I'm glad that I took the time to review the album as I really enjoyed listening to it. Time flies so fast I didn't even notice it took me around 1 hour to listen to the whole album. So Imma give this album 4/5. It definitely deserves that #1 and total recommendation for you music lovers out there. Catch some of her songs down there and enjoy. PEACE!

P/S: If you've listened to this album, lemme know what you guys think ya. :)

Ariana Grande's Presents "Dangerous Woman (Visual 1)" Music Video

First of all, I am not sure why it is called Visual 1. Maybe another version of the music video will come later on? Nobody knows. Anyway, the music video is here and it is sexayyyyyyy as hell! Ariana rocks the bunny-masked thingy for the single cover (kinda channeling Playboy in a way) which gives us the idea of how sexy the music video will be. I will say I am not disappointed AT ALL. Hahaha. Just when I thought our little sweet Ari couldn't get any sexier than she already is, this music video happens. Some might say Ari looks way too sexy than she should but who are we to say what she should looks like or not anyway right? So for Arianators, enjoy the video here and for non-Arianators, you might wanna check out other videos yah? PEACE! Do you think Ariana looks too sexy? Drop me your thoughts.

Iggy Azalea drops Music Video for "Team"

It has been sooooo long since "Fancy" and Iggy Azalea finally made her comeback to the music scene. This time, she is bringing "Team" with her. "Azillion" was supposed to be her comeback song but sadly, the song didnt fly. Sad to know that "Azillion" did not received enough hype when I think it should because it was such an amazing song. Fortunately, "Team" received significant responses and hence, it is worthy of a music video (thank god). Iggy did released a dance video for "Team" previously which was so promising and making us anticipating for the music video so much more. So the music video was released on 31st March 2016, just a few days ago for our viewing pleasure. I like "Team" a lot and I listen to it all the time. It was to my relief that the music video for "Team" is as amazing as the song! The music video got the vibe that the song need, great editing, great everything. Kudos to the director and everyone involved. For those who havent watched, watch it here and tell me what you think. PEACE!

p/s: "Team" is a song from her upcoming album "Digital Distortion"

Zayn's Mind of Mine - Album Review

Zayn, (formerly known as Zayn Malik) ex member of the current hottest boyband, One Direction has dropped his first highly anticipated debut album, "Mind of Mine". As expected, the album garnered massive responses from fans and critics who have been dying for the album (glad that it dropped on time tho). So with the album in hand, does it live up to the hype? Let's find out.

A little info on this album, the deluxe version comes with generous 18 songs including the hits "PILLOWTALK" and "iT's YoU". Prior to the album release, Zayn releases few tracks from the album namely "iT's YoU", "BeFour" and "LIKE I WOULD". Let's first talk on what I love. "iT's YoU" is my personal favourite from this album. The song is emotional with good lyrics. Zayn's falsettos are on point and the music just touch me in every way a music can. Real eargasm. "PILLOWTALK", the album first track which also was an instant hit, showcases Zayn's promising vocals. Tho it was kinda hard to catch what Zayn was saying in the song at first. "BeFour: and "LIKE I WOULD" are dance tracks, radio-friendly songs which are easy on the ears and easy to listen to. "fOoL fOr You" is my another favourite track from this album. Catchy lyrics with good music. Moving on, "TiO" is one hella sexy song, literally speaking, The lyrics are sex-y (:p) and the music is also sexy. Take a listen, you'll do what Zayn tells you in the song. I bet u will! Lol. "sHe" also delivers a sexy feeling to the listeners. I mean, I dig this R&B, groove, kinda pop as well kinda song. I believe this song will do good on radio. At the high falsetto part, Zayn kinda sounds like Jason Derulo or Shayne Ward actually.

On the other hand, among the tracks which I found least interesting is "dRuNk". It is not that bad actually but I found it is kinda typical. I mean it sounds generic and average. Plus, I don't really fancy the idea of getting drunk. (sorry). "BoRdErZ" and "lUcOzAdE" both give the same vibe, kind sound alike actually, It made me stop for a while and check if I was playing the same song.

The so-so songs are among others; "BLUE". Eventho blue is my favourite colour, it doesnt go that way with this one. "BLUE" is a ballad song, supposedly to show off Zayn's flawless vocals. However (to me), it turns out short. I mean it feels inadequate in a certain way. Another one is "SHE DONT LOVE ME". This song is very generic actually. We've heard this somewhere before I'm very sure.

So, in the nutshell, Zayn's "Mind of Mine" is actually a good album as a whole. A very good first attempt and deserved all those attention given to it. It actually reminds me of Justin Timberlake a lott. I dont know is it because they were both from a massive boybands or they both going for the same genre. Well maybe both. Overall, I give this album 4/5 and totally recommend this album to those who love R&B and Pop music. Thumbs up!

p/s: Take a listen to some of Zayn's songs here. Enjoy!
